At SHARC, we believe value comes from experiencing the services that will lead you down a successful path towards well being. Our potential members are entitled to a complementary consultation with one of our Personal Trainers, a tennis evaluation with one of our Pros, passes to try our Kids Club and access to any of our professionally instructed Group Exercise classes at no fee or obligation to join. We are so confident in the value that a membership here at SHARC provides to our members that we give a 30-Day Comfort Guarantee (annual plans) with all new memberships. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your decision to join our Club we will refund you the full amount you have invested after the first month.
Membership at Shrewsbury Health & Racquet Club is gained upon the completion of a membership application and billing information form. These forms are available in person only. Annual Membership rates are categorized in two types, monthly installments or paid in full dues. Monthly members pay monthly installments (of their annual contract) with an EFT draft and annual members pay the entire amount in advance and are given a discount for doing so. Memberships can be individual, couple or family.
Sport Membership entitles the member access to our entire fitness center and cardio machines; group exercise classes (no charge); racquetball courts (hourly rates apply); tennis courts (hourly rates apply), member discounts on all programs (other than swim based programs) and childcare (hourly rates apply).
Swim Membership entitles the member access to the indoor and outdoor pool facilities, water fitness classes (no fee), member discounts on all pool programs/lessons and childcare (hourly rates apply)
Sport/Swim Membership includes everything in both the Sport Membership and the Swim Membership.
Full Service Family Membership includes everything in the Sport/Swim Membership PLUS unlimited visits to our Kids Club at no charge.
We do offer Summer Season Memberships as well. Summer Memberships are pre-paid at the beginning of the season and can be adult, couple or family category. These are Full Service membership plans so Summer Family memberships not only get you use of our indoor and outdoor pools, it also includes use of the Kids Club at no charge all summer!
Senior Membership Options

Shrewsbury Health & Racquet also offers discount senior memberships (60 years and older) and specific Group Exercise Classes designed for senior participants.

Junior/Student Membership Options
Tennis Only: $225
* This plan is for children ages 4-17 years old that are registered for either group or private tennis lessons at SHARC.
Fitness Only EFT: $24 per month or $265 annual payment
* This plan is for children ages 13-17 years old. There is a 12-month (12 payment for EFT) commitment with this plan. This membership does not include use of the pool, racquetball or tennis.
Student Fitness Only: $85 for 3 months. Can renew in 1 month increments at $30 per month
- This plan is for students ages 13-22 years old. Student ID and Proof of Age required for this membership.
- This membership does not include use of the pool, racquetball or tennis.
Student Sport EFT: $34 per month (annual membership)
Student Sport Annual: $375
- Sport Plans include use of racquetball and tennis (court fees apply) in addition to fitness and group exercise classes.
- This Membership does not include use of the pool.
- Must be at least 13 years old to purchase a junior membership without an adult membership
Membership Promotions
Joining our Club is more fun with Friends! Plus, it's a great deal. When two new memberships are activated at the same time we will waive the initiation fee (up to a $199 savings each).
Starting March 1st, 2010 all Full Service Family Memberships also get unlimited visits to our Kids Club at no charge!
Don't forget about your Health Insurance reimbursement
Our full service memberships are health insurance eligible and some plans will send you back up to $400 per year! We provide you with all the necessary paperwork to make the process easy.

Business Memberships
Pay no enrollment fees and save 10% on your monthly dues when 5 or more co-workers join together. Sign your business up to receive corporate wellness benefits and we'll organize a lunchtime presentation at your workplace!
Guest Fees:
- Juniors (17 years and under) - $8.00
- Adults (18 - 59 Years) - $12.00
- Seniors (60 years and older) - $8.00
All guests must be sponsored by a member and register at the front desk. Guest are limited to 5 visits in a one-year period. |
