Youth Fitness Programs at SHARC

SHARC Youth Fitness offers the unique opportunity to both promote a healthy lifestyle earl on, and to properly educate kids about exercise and nutrition. Our Youth Fitness program teaches kids about the proper fitness fundamentals, and gives them a great foundation of knowledge to build upon. Having your child learning, and practicing, proper exercise and eating habits early on will:

  • promote proper growth and development.
  • prevent injury.
  • improve overall health.
  • decrease the risk of diseases. (such as diabetes cancer, and obesity)
  • improve school performance and behaviour.
  • provide a mental boost, kicking out anxiety and depression.

Varsity Academy

Varsity Academy is for the pre-high school athlete with aspirations of playing sports in high school. Varsity Academy will give your athlete the edge in their sport by improving condition, core strength, flexibility, agility, power and control. Varsity Academy focuses on all aspects of athleticism to improve their overall athletic ability, and prepare them for the competition of high school sports.

Born to Move™

A fun and exciting program created by and for young people. This program uses music movement, and the power of group exercise to boost energy, increase skill level, and generally feel awesome! Like all Les Mills™ programs, the music and choreography change regularly to keep things fresh!
