Shrewsbury Health & Racquet Club has three indoor tennis courts and 2 indoor racquetball courts. Tennis Courts may be booked up to 1 week in advance and court fees apply depending on the time of day. We also offer group lessons, private lessons and team play. Joshua Handy, former director of tennis for the Greendale YMCA, is our Shrewsbury Health and Racquet Club Tennis Director. He will be working hand in hand with our Tennis Director at Westboro Tennis & Swim Club, Mike Zatsiorsky, and tennis coordinator Stephen Ferris. Currently, we are accepting final reservations for Fall 2008 contract time. Contract time allows members to pre-pay for courts in order to assure the court is available at the same time each week, generally running Labor Day through Memorial Day. In order to participate in contract time, each player must be a member of the club. Please contact Shrewsbury Health & Racquet Club regarding membership information and contract information.
During the Fall/Winter season SHARC offers a full range of adult/junior clinics, private lessons, competitive team match play (DBH and USTA), social special events, round robin play programs and much more. Some of our many programs are listed below.
