Aquatics

Shrewsbury Health & Racquet Club currently has a heated outdoor pool which opens Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. We offer American Red Cross swim lessons, water fitness classes, and family swim.  Sign up is required for our swim lessons.  We have different options for using our pool in the summer.  People may purchase summer pool memberships, or members who pay their annual dues as all year full service members may use the pool in the summer as well.  Junior and student memberships are not eligible for pool use unless they pre-pay for the summer full service membership.

Pool rules and policies can be found in our membership handbook, but a summary is below:

• All members must check in at the front desk and sign in at the pool area.
• Members must check in all guests at the front desk and pay appropriate fees.  A Guest may only use the pools 3 times per summer.
• Children under 14 must be supervised by a parent at the pool at all times.
• No glass bottles, alcohol or smoking is allowed on the pool deck.
• Members may bring their own food but please use the picnic tables for eating.
• Children under 5 and those that need flotation to swim must be accompanied in the water by an adult.

Did you know: Year-round family memberships at SHARC are entitled to do Fall/Winter/Spring swim lessons at Westboro Tennis and Swim Club at a discounted SHARC member rate. Another great reason your family should be members at SHARC!
