A coed league open to all skill levels: The number of divisions will depend on the number of people who sign up and their skill level. Each level will be limited to 8 players. Players will be assigned to the appropriate level based on recent league activity or playing a seasoned league player to determine skill level. Skill levels be be designated as follows: A (highly advanced), B (advanced intermediate), C (intermediate) and D (novice).
League play will start Tuesday October 18, 2016. Due to the delayed start this league will consist of one match per week for 7 weeks, followed by a single elimination tournament for qualifying players. (top four players in each division based on games won) Players placing 1st and 2nd may be moved up to the next higher division in subsequent leagues.
Matches consist of two games to 15 points and a third game to 11 points, all played in a 45-minute period (with starting times ranging from 5:00 – 7:15pm. They are played Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night at the time listed on the schedule. (Please note that matches may be rescheduled due to work and family commitments) Always call you opponent a day or two before your scheduled match to confirm.
Each player receives a complete schedule of all matches (time/date/court) with the players’ names/telephone number and league T-shirt (if desired)
